still water causing fumes/gunk in the air . Got told basically too bad so sad and not a single apology . About to spend my evening scooping this out because they won’t even come drain it . have tried to be understanding so far , but this is on top of the apartment being dirty and having small damages from the previous tenant still , them entering my first apartment while I was asleep after it being discussed that a time range would be set and none was (even tho I literally had a note posted that I was sleeping please come back later ), hallways REAKING since I moved in, doing nothing for residents in a power outage in over 100• my first week here , and the office staff making comments about my voice and “energy” when I don’t talk to them like I’m their bestie .

cheaply built. My AC has broke twice in the span of living hear for 2 years and so has just about every appliance in the unit. The staff are condescending and rude, and do not care about the residents. As a college student, I have had to learn so much about my rights as a renter because they don’t take young tenants concerns seriously. They just shut down the spa because of “disaster messes” even though that is an amenity we pay for, but won’t pay for better cameras to actually see where damage is coming from. There are supposed to be quiet hours which the office does not actually enforce, and we have filed several noise complaints through out our time here that have only resulted in “warnings”. They also are TERRIBLE at giving proper notice for when people are entering a unit. If something needs to be fixed, you should expect it to get fixed in at least a week and a half if not longer due to the fact that they don’t care about residents. Ron the maintenance man is the only helpful staff member and I have just started going directly to him when there is an issue because the office managers are 1) never working and 2) take forever to get things done. Honestly cannot wait to leave this property. Ridiculous. Dont live here it’s terrible! I will include several photos as well.

many problems for me while I lived there. My original roommate never showed up to live with me so for the first 6 months I was living alone. This was okay at first, besides the fact that they lied to us about the amenities they had. They told me before they built the complex that it would have an elevator. I signed up to live on the top floor, but when I arrived on move in day (which they postponed until TWO DAYS before fall classes had begun in 2017) there was no elevator. The only person who was available to help me move in my things was my sister who was 6 months pregnant at the time! They didn't build hot tub nor the gym until 3 months after I was living there. My main issue with this complex happened in late January/early February of 2018 when they had moved someone into the other room of my apartment complex... without giving me proper notice. They sent me an email the DAY before they moved some total stranger into my apartment. Now, while I understand they have the right to do so because the rooms are on separate leases, I ended up coming home to some random person in my place because they did not give me proper notice! Cedar flats listed themselves as not pet friendly, which was perfect for me because I am allergic to pet hair and dander and thus didn't want to live with someone who had an animal. The person they moved into my apartment had a cat. This person made it extremely difficult for me to live in peace in my own apartment due to the fact that they didn't take care of the animal and let it roam freely into my room and throughout the common area. When I brought the issue up to Lachelle, one of the many managers they rotated through, her response was, "You didn't list that you had pet allergies when you signed up for this complex." -_- Why would I need to if I was told before I signed up to live here, that there were no pets allowed in the complex?? What sense does that make?? I could write a detailed, entertaining novel about all the unpleasant experiences I had at this place, but long story short: DON'T LIVE HERE. In addition to what I listed above, the area is so unsafe. I woke up to a shooting right outside my window during the summer I lived there and had cops shining flashlights into the complex from about 3am - 5am. There are so many homeless that raid through the garbage and people's porches-- if you live on the ground floor. I've even seen a homeless man sleeping in the hot tub/outdoor area. Lachelle charged me $250 for 'carpet cleaning fees' even though I had cleaned the entire apartment. Check my photos. Read the reviews. Please, don't make the same mistake I, and so many others have.
