quickly and thoroughly to my inquiries. My application was thoroughly reviewed, so I felt confident that I'd be living with responsible students, professionals, and visitors -- and I was not disappointed. I was welcomed by a cheerful RA, and throughout my stay both the staff and my fellow residents were gracious and engaging. Chef Michael deserves my particular thanks and praise. He cooked delicious, nutritious meals that also met my dietary restrictions. Michael is a talented and caring chef, and The Collegian is lucky to have him.
see morehave a fantastic meal and to spend time with my friends that live in the building. The staff here is so kind and will help in you any way that they can. The kitchen staff is especially super helpful with accommodating for dietary needs and food allergies. The food here is also SO delicious! Chef Tommy always whips up an amazing weekly menu. It is so nice to come home from class to a hot meal and a smile. Personally, Chef Tommy and the kitchen staff have been so thoughtful with my own food allergy and they think of the best and most creative meals for me. The Collegian’s rooms here are spacious and come with HUGE closets, their own private bathroom, AND a balcony! These rooms are so much better and more spacious than the dorms. I really enjoy the Collegian and the community they have created here and I plan to come back next year! :)
see morewith a bed up a spiral staircase. We have been very favorably impressed with both the management of the complex and the outstanding quality of the meals, where we receive breakfast and dinner Monday through Friday. The management awards rent reduction incentives to honor roll students, thereby attracting occupants serious about their studies. The chef is one of the best in the greater Eugene area, having been the chief chef at a number of outstanding local restaurants. All in all, its ideal location near both the university and downtown and its very reasonable summer rates have made The Collegian a perfect choice for the great summers and outdoor activity in this special part of our country.
see moreto say The Collegian for several reasons. I learned alot during my time working at the collegian with Chef Tommy and Laurel. Pay is good, work environment is friendly and positive and everyone helps each other. I wish I had a chance to meet Martin before I left town but if he's in town again I'd definitely make the drive to meet him. I've never seen a business owner care so much about their employees like Martin does. Farewell, Collegian. I had a great time working here. I would definitely work here again if I move back to Eugene/Springfield.
see moreor not the price is worth it, so lucky me I came in right when the new gourmet chef took over. Chef Tommy has been involved in the local restaurant community for a long time I was a little shocked to learn. Based on what I've seen in the year I've been here, the location and high quality meals makes the collegian a steal at the moment. It's also worth mentioning how reasonable management has been. In this competitive campus location there's no shortage of greedy landlords ready to make your life hell, but in all our interactions the manager Jeff has been very even tempered and solution oriented. Between all this and the in-house maintenance and cleaning (shout-out to Jackie and Yahni), I've been very happy and impressed with the collegian.
