see morenothing about my experience and SO MANY texts and calls ignored. When I sold my contract, I went into the office every single day to make sure I was doing everything right. They told me I didn't have to do any paperwork although I asked repeatedly (because that's strange that I wouldn't)so I took pictures of the place (that was essential) and moved out like I was given permission to do. Other guy moved in and we were good until lol and behold I'm being charged rent a month later. After many ignored texts, calls and voicemails I finally start getting some help from the manager. She informs me that they have no record of me selling. Already frustrated but determined I worked with her to resell the contact (this time with them paying attention). But there were many errors made including the wrong date that I sold it, the wrong time frame for the new guy. By now it's been long since I'd sold, the late fee on the rent was building up and now they were demanding a $250 selling fee....for what?!?!? They didn't even sell the contact when I sold that. After writing a review about what happened I was threatened by some bogus legal privacy crap. They'd given me a $500 credit towards rent for the next year (I had a contact...I'll get to that) which she took away after I wrote the review claiming that there was a legal clause of complete silence on my part about all experiences with stadium 150. Yeah, legal clause on a document I was never given. Along the line I reminded them that I'd already signed a contact for the next school year...they responded saying that I didn't. Yeah, they lost that too. But at that point, I was glad they'd lost my contract so I wouldn't have to go through hell again. Eventually I paid the rediculous selling fee and then began the hassle of the deposit return. I had to nag and nag and nag. I was calling 3-4 times a week and texting and getting ignored multiple times. Finally they randomly sent me a document saying I had forfeit the entire deposit because I'd sold my contract. So I scoured the entire contract and found that that wasn't mentioned on a single line. I called them out on it and they said some "mistake had been made". But I did find it interesting that it said they had to give me my deposit back at the most 30 days after surrender of the apartment. At that point it had been three months. I informed them I had a solid legal case against them since they had been the ones who had violated the contract. Finally they said they'd sent the check...which of course took around two weeks 4 months later I'm finally out of Stadium 150 and have my security deposit back. But only after a complete battle and so much stress. I know as soon as I post this, the office will respond and deny it. Then I'll get an angry threatening call like I did last time. That's alright, I have the right to speak up about my experience. I just hope that at least one person will go live somewhere else after seeing this. DO NOT GET STUCK HERE, or you'll have to fight to get out!
