I enjoyed living here for 3 semesters. People at Brooklyn are the best, wards are fun and incredible too! Roommates are down to earth and kind, apartments are clean and maintenance always came quickly to fix anything in the apartments. The rooms are spacious and the bathrooms are nice, 2

fridges, new washer and dryers, great activities for tenants, and affordable rent. Rachel, the manager is awesome. She is sweet, kind, patient, and very responsive. She kept the communication going and was willing to work things out. Really, I loved it here. Will recommend everyone to live here. Maybe what can improve is the space in the kitchen to put your stuff and groceries. It gets hot in the summer but the weather is nice to stay out of the apartment during that time so not a big deal. The beds are tall and it’s great for more space, but the mattresses are a tad uncomfortable for my like. Overall, this apartment complex is great!

I have lived in the Brooklyn Apartment for four semesters now, and have had a great experience! I do not plan on leaving soon. The rent is affordable, and my favorite part of living here, is the people. I especially love our management. They are friendly and care about their

tenants. I feel welcomed here. Our management has been helpful and patient anytime I have approached them with a question. They do their best to resolve issues quickly. If a tenant submits a maintenance request, management is on the ball and they get the problem solved pretty fast. Communication is another one of their strengths. Management keeps their tenants updated with useful emails and text messages. They often provide treats for apartment-wide meetings which is also a bonus. I appreciate all they do!

I’ll start with the AWESOME! And then move into improvement areas/things to be aware of as well. As well as a WARNING FOR READERS of reviews. THE AWESOME! 1. Nice location - close to campus 2. Wonderful Lounge - with an uncomplicated way of reservation - this has recently changed, but was what

sold me in the beginning when I was choosing where to live. 3. THE PEOPLE - oh my goodness!! If you get the opportunity to live on the second or third floor, between 201-206 and 301-306, you will have an amazing bishopric, with a kind and loving ward (at least for now) 2024 4. Snow Plowing - while I wish notice for moving vehicles was given sooner, during the colder months, management is good at getting the snow out. I have been in apartment complexes where I am unable to move my car because of plowing issues, but this apartment complex has been really the best in terms of making sure we can get out safely in the winter months. They even have guys out there going BETWEEN CARS plowing to make it more maneuverable! THANKS! 5. COST - the cost at Brooklyn is manageable and affordable, and sure yeah, you have a shallower sink, less room, and some other lost commodities, but out of all the CHEAP locations I researched, this one is the best. 6. COMMUNICATION - Management - Prior to us moving in, things shifted pretty drastically. During this transition it was actually not fun because me and my roommates couldn’t access the code key, and we couldn’t get into our apartment for days. 😆ha! They were in transition, and I realize that, but it was not a comfy situation. After having that experience however, I was able to have a conversation with the transition manager, and get my needs met in terms of compensation for that very uncomfortable situation. NOW - that management has changed to Rachel, she is very communicative. If you are looking for management that will communicate often, this is what’s there for you! She gives on average a text or two a week, notifying of clean checks, deadlines, and other concerns others may have. (Rachel) communicates and is not afraid to listen if you come in a professional manner about a concern or worry. Be professional and kind when working with managers. In my opinion they have a LOT on their plates. 7. CLEANLINESS and NO MOLD At least in my apartment, I have found that there are pretty sealed windows, and a lack of visible mold/mildew in the apartment, which is better than a ton of other apartments I have seen. This is a cleaner apartment complex, especially with the price.Currently clean checks are every other week, and while roommates can be pretty messy sometimes, management is willing to work with you on that too. 8. Timely Maintenance - I’ve lived in places where it has taken 2 WEEKS to get vital things fixed within the apartment, from the oven, to the WATER HEATER (not fun) and other minor problems. When a maintenance request is submitted, (and there is a lack of follow through in the communication,) the work still gets done. I have had maintenance come in for multiple things over the past semesters. WARNING FOR READERS - Please be wary of the 1 star reviews with not a ton of information to them. I think a lot of times, if one student gets angry and frustrated because of a situation, then they retaliate by getting friends involved. While I’m not sure how I feel about the responses from Brooklyn themselves, I do think that attacking a business due to a mistake with one client is not as helpful to grasp the overall value that the business can provide. That is what I think is happening with the reviews, which is not fun. Just communicate with management in a kind manner, without a lot of attack, and they typically are more than willing to work with you on a solution that is helpful to both parties. BE AWARE 1. Flys in the summer 2. Less space - have to share kitchen stuff as there is not space for a ton of supplies 3. Beds aren’t comfy 4. Showers are low and loud Brooklyn truly is a great place to live. Choose to live here if you want cheap and simple and fun!

I lived here for 7 semesters in a row while going to BYU-I and loved it! The apartments are small, but they're super homey and in really good condition. Maintenance is really fast and efficient and you can tell the manager cares a lot about the tenants! I met some

of my best friends loving here, and I would recommend it to anyone. It's also super close to campus, which is a huge plus!
