did a gift card giveaway awhile back and people flooded the reviews with 5 stars because they wanted to get the gift card. DONT expect your deposit back! We cleaned our apartment for several hours due to other reviews talking about this exact same thing. we washed all the walls by hand, we vacuumed the carpet, washed the doors, windows, and everything that was on the list they gave us. They claimed it needed 2.75 hours of cleaning besides the $100 for the carpet cleaning that I did know about when signing the lease. I almost bet that the apartment was just turned around to the next resident with nothing done because when we moved in the apartment was dirty in some areas already. After getting the list from the office that said what needed cleaned I emailed with pictures showing proof that some of the things listed were incorrect or that it was like that when we moved in. I never got any response back so that seems shady on their part. You can't get ahold of the office over the phone it always goes to voicemail which happens to always be full. I tried this several times and never had any luck, which is very annoying not to mention office hours are all over the place. Several days they won't have people in the office or they happen to not be there because they left early. The AC units have a hard time keeping up during the summer. With it being around 85 or 90 degrees getting the apartment below 75 was very difficult. We closed all the blinds and tried to keep the sunlight out as much as possible. We had a big issue with our heat the first winter. The heat was "on" but the temperature in the apartment was 58 degrees. We had maintenance come out and they said it was because we had 3 outside walls and that's just how it was going to be. Due to them saying this I went out and bought 2 space heaters to try and bring the temperature up. I ended up contacting maintenance again to get this resolved and eventually got someone who knew how to fix it. DONT trust maintenance while you're out of town!! We had maintenance come while we were out of town to put the new washer and dryer into the 2 bedroom apartment. They left the door wide open for several hours and never came back.(Attached pics with timestamp) This was insane because we were out of town for a couple days and the door would have been left wide open if not for some friends of ours living in the complex. I think it's common courtesy to close the door and lock it back up when you're done entering or working in the apartment. One of the last things I had issues with is the plowing of the parking lot. They are very bad at keeping the parking lot clear. They will wait a week or more after it snows when all the snow is already packed down and in big ruts throughout the parking lot. The parking lot will be super slick and when they come to plow it barely looks like it was touched. I have seen emails for places nicer than here for a better price and I would say to go with one of those places over here. EDIT: After we have finally finished up with everything for move out I am confident that when people ask me how living here is I tell them to find somewhere different at all costs! Even if it's Facebook people asking on a public site or just people I overhear talking about this place. I have had people that I went to school with get married and asked about living at this complex. I told them to look elsewhere. People who I know or somewhat know asking about this place as they are getting ready to be married I also steer away from here. GOOD Things: -The new washer and dryer they put into the 2bd apartments -Somewhat close to campus -we left our keys out of town and maintenance came and let us into our apartment.
see morerent but it’s really around 1,000 with all the add ons they don’t tell you about. It doesn’t come with a microwave and the washer and dryer and not in unit! You share 5 washers between a whole building!! It cost 1.75 for one load! They also make to pay money for cleaning when you move out, and if you move out early you pay the transfer fee of 400! Management will never answer. They never fix things when we need it, we didn’t have access to the amenities cause they wouldn’t fix our key. Overall worst experience EVER! Definitely never live here!
see morein front of our apartment. We also rented a furnished apartment, and on our move in day, we walked into an apartment with no couch or bed. Thankfully we got the bed later that evening, and the couch the next day.
see moreknow this was the standard for all apartments but the carpet was incredibly dusty and dirty when we moved in. We also had to wait 3 hours to get our apartment number once we arrived on our move in date. The amenities are nice but management just needs to keep up the standards more.
see morehours and almost never answer the phone. When we were trying to move somewhere else we needed something from them and it took MONTHS of calling and emails to get it. We had to call someone higher up in the property management company to even get it as well. Very dissatisfied in the experience we had here. They require you to leave your window open a crack year round to prevent mold because there is no central air of any kind. We still had issues with mold. Do not live here.
