small making it hard to get refrigerated foods because of lack of room. But overall, a good apartment complex!
see moreorder to miss a snow storm because I was driving home) and because I did not properly clean under the stove (which I know I did). It is also important to know that the apartment is actually a lot older then what it looks like in the pictures and a lot smaller. There is also no AC in the apartments, so its a nightmare to live in during the hot/warm weather. And the heating system only works for the downstairs floor, no vents to take the heat up to your room. The parking situation is absolutely terrible there as well. It is beyond limited and the parking entrance is very narrow, it is the worst in the winter, cars get stuck at the entrance all the time. Management is continuously changing as well, I want to assume it is because of the owners of the property. Many of my roommates have had a terrible experience with one of the owners. The only good thing about this apartment complex is that it is close to campus (right across the street from the hinckley building), the temple, and that you can get a private room. Save yourself the stress and find somewhere better to live!!!!
see moreevents and reminders. I love the option of having my own room, and I love that there are only 4 girls to an apartment. Overall my experiences have been great and I will be living here until I graduate.
see morethe townhouse style of the complexes is a lot of fun. Church was very close by in the Hinckley Building (if you’re into that) and the social atmosphere at Hillcrest was nice and not overbearing. This is definitely a more “chill” place to live, in my opinion. As for the things I didn’t like so much, you do have to pay for laundry. The stairs in the complexes are very tight and narrow, which causes problems when carrying suitcases and bins up and down. The bathroom is *tiny* and I’ve definitely hit people with the door by accident since it’s so close to the vanity. The biggest issue I had, though, was the lack of air conditioning and the fact that the apartments are only warmed up by a single fireplace on the first floor. Definitely bring a portable heater and/ or fan with you if you choose to move here. All in all, I really did like living here. The prices are reasonable and the environment is very nice. If I didn’t transfer to another school I might have stayed here until I graduated.
