I am extremely disappointed with my time at the Stone Brook apartments. The price may seem tempting but it is not worth your time or money. Things started well when we applied and management was prompt to return our calls and super helpful to answer our questions. However things started

to change quickly right after we moved in. Upon moving in, they had not finished cleaning the apartment, so we could not move our stuff in completely for several hours. Upon initial inspection, the tack strip was sticking through our carpet in the entryway to the kitchen in a spot that we would frequently step on. They were prompt to respond and “fix” the issue, however the solution only lasted a few days. Upon noticing that it had started to stick through again, we submitted a request to get it fixed, then another one, and another one. A few months went by without a response when my wife stepped on it and cut her foot. It was only after threatening to bill them if she needed a tetanus shot that they came to fix it again. We got the so called “upgraded” unit, however the only difference from their standard unit is a higher ceiling. Our stove burners frequently disconnect while we are cooking and there has been no response to those maintenance requests either. Parking is extremely limited if you have more than one vehicle, so don’t expect to park right outside your door. Also expect with the covered parking to have the sprinklers spraying your vehicle all night, leaving hard water spots all over your windshield that are next to impossible to remove. This is extremely inconvenient if you are like me and are driving to work into the sunrise, leaving you nearly blind. Our washing machine has ruined several articles of clothing as it is very outdated and the spin cycle cannot be slowed down. Upon deciding to move, you must submit a letter of intent not to renew 90 days before you do so as a “courtesy” to their management. Management is nearly impossible get in contact with via the phone, and messages are never returned. Their office hours are also very short, closing before most people are off work each day. All of their documents need to be turned in with a paper copy, leading to filing errors and lost documents which just creates more headaches. Upon signing with our new apartment complex, our new apartment tried to call Stone Brook during the screening process several times with no answer from management, delaying our approval for two weeks. All in all management only cares about your money and doesn’t care about their tenants, especially if you are moving and they will be losing your money. I am extremely disappointed and frustrated by our experience with management and the overall quality of our apartment. Expect to be constantly fighting with management to get things done. Spend a little bit more each month and go somewhere else to save yourself all the headache and trouble that this complex causes.

Three stars because we enjoyed our time here but management was pretty terrible right at the end. The apartment we got felt super nice. It came clean and was easy to keep that way. It was a very comfortable size and we loved the layout and the closet space. The community

is awesome as well, we got pretty tight with our neighbors. Amenities are nice especially the hot tub although it was out of service for a couple months. Like other reviews are saying management is a pain. Hailey is a great person but I guess she just can’t do anything, she always has to pass you off to Celeste. Who by the way is never available for calls. The amount of times I’ve had Hailey tell me “she’s out for lunch” at random times of the day is ridiculous. I guess she just takes like 5 hour lunches every day who knows. But in all seriousness I’ve called at least twice a week for the past month and every time I have to leave a voicemail (which they don’t bother to return) or if I’m lucky enough to get Hailey she just says “I’ll have Celeste call you back” which of course never happens. If I weren’t living across the state right now I’d just go in person, as if that would do any good because it’s just going to be Hailey there anyway. What really bugged us is that there’s a double standard for the contract. They give you only 24 hours to sign it so you barely have time to check through it. And of course there’s errors like they have your move in/move out dates wrong. So you just assume “oh if they don’t care to get it right it must just be a formality or whatever” wrong. They’re sticklers about it. They promised us we’d get our entire deposit back. Then we get the check back (two months later!) and they’ve cut out a significant amount and they’re just like “check the contract! It’s in there” and refuse to give more details. So yeah that’s about it. I don’t recommend living here even though the apartment was really nice.

We've lived here twice now and have enjoyed both experiences. We love that the ceilings are tall, there is lots of light, granite counters and a good amount of storage space. We downsized from a 3 bedroom house and could fit a good portion of our items in our home! We

have a dog and love that the new owners added "pick up" stations with trash cans on almost every corner. Management has always been helpful and we love the maintenance guys (Israel and James!). They've all been quick to respond and easy to communicate with. We just had our sink and dishwasher overflow! Israel and James came right away, chatted with us and fixed the problem. We appreciate friendly, knowledgable maintenance guys! I've attached pictures of our home right now. We fit a lot in and it feels like home!

All the staff in the office are great to work with and they help make living at Stone Brook even better! Celeste, the office manager is amazing and what she does and she does what she can to help, she’s made the year and a half we’ve lived here that

much better. I’m thankful to be part of an amazing little community!

DO NOT MOVE HERE. Their management is very predatory. Sure there was something on the contract you sign when you just move in stating that they needed a 60 move out notice (which most other apt complexes in the area do not require), but they sent us a reminder about

it past the 60 days, and called it a “courtesy”. They are only interested in your money( do not expect your deposit back btw, they will find something stupid to blame you for once you leave), and do the bare minimum for their tenants. Maintenance requests take forever to be fulfilled, and you usually have to call their office 2-3 times if you want to get something fixed. The maintenance guy is super kind, I would say that was the only good thing about it. Dog poop trash is rarely emptied, so there’s usually dog poop on the ground around it, and lots of flies.
