Up front- I love this apartment and I'm only moving because I'm getting married. Here's why it's a good pick-
1) Proximity to desirable locations. It's a 20 min walk to get to BYU campus, and 15 min drive to UVU. 5 min walk to tons of businesses (Raising Canes, Crumbl, CVS, Papa Johns, Firehouse Subs, etc) and 10 min walk to many more (UPS store, Macey's Grocery store, Target, Kneaders, Walgreens, Chick Fil A, Chipotle, Dutch Bros, Panda Express, etc). All the parking on site is also reserved for residents with some free parking on the road so you can also drive places easily.
2) Privacy in the apartment. Your bedroom is your own, so you don't have to share with another person. There is plenty of space for clothes (a dresser and a closet to hang things up) plus your own desk and additional storage space under your bed and on a shelf above the closet. Washer and dryer are also in the apartment, so you don't have to worry about someone stealing your clothes or paying a fee every time you need to wash something.
3) Plenty of space. I've touched on this a little already, but here's some more. There is definitely enough space to store what you need in your room, and there's also plenty of space in the 2nd bathroom (which will be the one you use if you buy my contract), under the sink, and in the kitchen for all the rest of your belongings.
4) Property amenities. The apartment complex has a basketball court that's free for any residents and friends to use, and I've also seen people playing pickleball and other sports there. There's also a pool and hot tub that are open year round (the pool is heated in the winter) which is super relaxing especially in the summer. The gym/fitness center has various machines and space to work out and its for residents only, so any time I've been it hasn't been crazy busy. Lastly, the courthouse has comfortable spaces to relax in, along with pool tables and free soda.
5) Roommates and Ward. My roommates have been so easy to live with and are clean as well. One of my roommates has a cat, but he stays exclusively in her room so allergies are not an issue in the slightest (I'm allergic to cats and haven't had any issues). And that could be a bonus if you like cats, he is playful and loves people. The YSA ward is comprised of folks that also live in Alpine Village, and includes a mix of BYU, UVU, and working young adults. The ward meets at 11:30 in the UPC (the building to the west of the paleontology museum) and the bishop is very kind and involved with the ward members.
I hope you consider buying my contract because I know you'll like it as much as I do!
